this track has always been a favorite of mine. Not sure If I would call it rare groove, modern soul or just soul, but whatever it is this 45 is hot.
From the intro horn stabs to the sweet soulful vocals this tune has you hooked in the first 2 bars. I'm surprised it hasn't been sampled more often!
Released in 1980 on QC records this tune proves soul music has the power to break through all trends and prove why its the greatest music on earth.
